The pandemic has left our main source of income, our care service, deflated. Yet demand for our telephone befriending and shopping services have unsurprisingly soared. We are now appealing to YOU to ‘join us for a Caring Cuppa’ and help us continue our vital work with a small monthly donation.

£5 a month is not much more than what we’d spend on a cup of tea or coffee, sitting in with friends. A cup of tea with someone who asks us how our week was can have tremendous powers, especially for those who live alone. With a monthly donation, you could contribute greatly to our telephone befriending service, which brings smiles and friendship, and relief from loneliness for some of the most vulnerable in society. For some, sadly, it means even more: for those left without care provision during the epidemic, a weekly phone call can be the last connection to the outside world that’s not their family (whoever is lucky enough to have a family.)
